3. Delta Children LX Side by Side
This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are looking for a second stroller that is affordable. It scored highly in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to move and store in a trunk of a car. It also offers the option of reclining in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels and two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.
In our test of push and turn it performed better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we tested, but it's still not the most maneuverable on uneven ground or through narrow doorways. The sunshades it has were among the smallest strollers we tested. They only cover the top and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger sunshades.
It took us under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. But, it's lacking some essential features that we think it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller, like a large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

The seat reclines with one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to take their child in and out. This narrow pushchair handled everyday bumps and doorways easily.
The front wheels can be locked in forward positions or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. While walking on the stony path, we let them move and it handled this fairly well although it did seem slightly bumpier than other models that we tested.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,
Baby Jogger is famous for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain jogging pushchairs, but they also make a good selection of 4-wheel strollers. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is easy to use and folds small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.
It's a little heavier than the other strollers we test, but the wheels are a rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and durable. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains, and even with two children as well as a shopping bag and other items.
The carrycot and seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers faces.
